What is YehBA*?

YehBA* Mobile 2.0 Platform, it has built-in messaging system that allows you to make mobile Instant Messaging on your mobile phone. By downloading YehBA*, you can use your cell phone to access popular Instant Messenger(Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, MSN, GTALK, Jabber), share photos, download YehBA* Mobile Widgets, social network community sites, news, blogs and more.

Can I use YehBA* on my phone?

You must have a compatible phone with an Internet connection that is also capable of running Java mobile applications, most phones made after 2003 fulfill these requirements.

How much YehBA* Mobile IM cost?

YehBA* is free! Depending on how you get YehBA*, your service provider may charge you for the download. With YehBA*, messages and images are optimized and compressed before being sent to your phone. Therefore data transferred to your phone is significantly reduced.

How do I install YehBA* on my phone?

3 Easy Ways to Get YehBA* installed on your phone!
1. Download via Mobile Phone - Using your phone's default Web browser, Go to http://m.yehba.com and click on "the version of your phone".
2. Download via PC or Mac - Download YehBA* to your desktop PC or Mac, and then transfer and install it on your phone via Bluetooth or USB
3. Phone to Phone Wireless Transfer - You can also transfer the YehBA* application phone to phone via Bluetooth or Infrared. *You may need an application designed for Phone to Phone transfer.

Where in my phone can I find YehBA* after installing it?

Varies by phone model and manufacturer. Check your phone manual or visit your phone manufacturer's website to find this information for your phone. You can also e-mail us at info@d3s.ph.

Using YehBA*

How to Add Contact?

Go to Options>Add Contact. Enter the Mobile Number using international format. CountryCode+mobilenumber and the desired Name for the contact and press the Add key.

How to Chat?

Choose a contact you want to chat. Click the Fire Button to start Chatting with your Buddy.

How to Change Status or Presence?

Go to Options>My Status. This will show you a variety of preset status messages for you to choose from or customized your own!

How to access your other Instant Messager accounts?

To Login Your Instant Messengers
Yahoo! Messenger:
Go to Options > Other IM
Go to Service Tab > IM GATEWAY
a. Profile Name – Any of your Choice
b. Host – type Yahoo
c. User ID – your current YM user id ( no need to enter @yahoo.com)
d. Password – your current YM password
MSN:
Go to Options > Other IM
Go to Service Tab > IM GATEWAY
a. Profile Name – Any of your Choice
b. Host – type MSN
c. User ID – your current MSN user id (______@hotmail.com)
d. Password – your current MSN password Your password is case sensitive

How to Share Photo?

Select a contact to share photo, go to Options>Communicate>Share Photo>New or Existing

What is a YehBA* Chatroom?

YehBA* provides you also with the ability to create a chat room wherein you can invite contacts and chat with them or join another chat room simultaneously

How to change chatroom Font Colors?

Colors: white, blue, green, pink, gold, gray, maroon
Sample: ?pink how r u?
TIP: disable fastchat mode for best results.

How to add services?

Go to the service tab then launch the Service List service, choose a service, select Info of your chosen service, then Add Service.

How to insert Emoticons?

To insert an emotion, go to Options>Insert>Emoticons.

Settings

What do I need to use YehBA*?

You need to have an Internet Service on your mobile phone! Get your internet activated so that you can do YehBA*. Most of the mobile carriers nowadays have already activated mobile internet service and will even send you an internet setting. After the activation try to restart your mobile phone for it to take effect.

How can I get Internet Settings?

Kindly call your mobile operator to request an Access Point.
Get them to send you the OTA configuration messages. Most mobile carriers can send a text message to your phone that will setup your phone with all the settings it requires to access data on their network. Settings will be sent via text(SMS). Just save it on your phone.
Please see your mobile phone manual for instructions on setting up Internet Access Point.

I have the right settings, but YehBA* still doesn't work

There are devices that require a special configuration in addition to the right settings.
Please see your mobile phone manual for instructions on setting up Internet Access Point or kindly call your mobile operator to guide you with your network settings.

Security and Privacy

Can I use IM securely with YehBA*?

Yes. However, we advise you not add person that you do not know if you are in Public Chatroom. Always protect your privacy, do not divulge your personal information over the Mobile Internet.

Does YehBA*support encrypted connections?

The current version does not support encryption; however the messages are encoded/compressed before sending and not human readable.

How does YehBA* protect my privacy?
